Now Is The Time To List Your Home

In the last 100 days or so we as a country have seen so many changes take place in Real Estate.  Rates are still at an all time low and when I speak with lenders they are working morning, noon and night processing loans.  During the pandemic, families where and still are looking to move out of areas that saw hotspots in.  Short term rentals and homes were seeing offers sight unseen.  Because of the pandemic, the lack of space and yard, this gave many that final push to start looking for another home.  Now with inventory still low, homes ranging btwn $300K-$500 that have been priced fairly, well maintained are seeing multiple offers within 1 day being on the market.

With low inventory this makes it a sellers market.  Buyers are in full force.  If you were looking to put your house on the market I say now is the time.  Due to the pandemic, Real Estate spring market has gotten a late start rushing families to find a home so they can prepare their children for the start of a new school year.  I spoke previously that the pandemic was that great opportunity to garden, de clutter, paint, etc to get your home ready.  If you are unsure of what you should do with your home to prepare, contact a Real Estate Agent.  This is why you hire one.  We are there to help you sell your home from the beginning to the end.

What other advantages are sellers seeing right now?

In the past, Sellers had to honor every buyer who wanted to view the home.  Now with the fear of a second wave of the virus, sellers are being advised to ask for updated pre approvals along with disclosures signed before viewing your home.  This allows only serious qualified buyers to walk into your home.  Because Real Estate is operating in this new norm, many precautionary measures are taking place to keep everyone safe.  I’d be happy to discuss this further if you’d like to learn more in depth about it.  Remember buying and selling home is an emotional and physical feeling.  Being able to open your home and making sure it’s being done safely is important and I can help you.

Lastly and more importantly, I’d like to take this opportunity again to thank the frontline.  Those of you that worked the front house and helped maintain a clean enviroment in rooms, kitchen employees, doctors, nurses, police dept, fire dept, other emergency workers who worked non stop.  I thank all of you!  I also want to acknowledge that I stand in solidarity with all races in the black lives matter movement.  We are all one and bleed the same.  We need to all come together to find peace and fairness.  We need to all come together as every life on earth matters.
